Institutional workspaces are verified before creation
An authorized representative applies with an institution-issued email and public organization website. Spotlock reviews the institution and applicant role before the approved owner can verify that mailbox and create the workspace.
Questions before you get started
Who can apply for an institutional workspace?
A representative authorized to evaluate or administer software for a school, school district, college or university can apply using an institution-issued email address.
Can an institution offer free programs?
Yes. A program can use no-cost registration or institution-funded registration without collecting a participant payment at checkout.
Can families pay online?
Yes. An institution can connect its Stripe account and configure eligible programs so families or participants pay online.
Does Spotlock support attendance and authorized pickup?
Yes. Staff can work from session rosters, record arrivals and absences, review approved pickup adults and use printable sheets when an offline record is required.
Does applying create an account?
No. The application is reviewed first. Only the approved institution-issued email can create the institutional owner account.
